Raised idle speed — automatic reactivation

SOPS parameter RAISED_IDLE_SPEED_REACTIVATION · seen in 69 SOPS files

What it controls

Decides whether the raised idle resumes automatically when its conditions are met again after an interruption — for instance after the driver briefly touched the accelerator or the parking brake was re-applied. With reactivation, the body operator does not have to press the request again every time the interlock trips; without it, each interruption requires a fresh request from the bodywork input or the cab. Crane and tail-lift operators generally prefer automatic reactivation; applications where an unexpected rise in engine speed could be dangerous (people working near a driven shaft) may prefer manual re-request. Review it together with the neutral and parking-brake conditions.
