What a remote job is

A specialist takes over a remote-desktop session to your PC, with your SDP3 and your VCI connected to the vehicle, and performs the configuration you asked for. You watch the whole thing and you can stop it at any point.

What it is not

It is not a file service and not a subscription. Nothing is flashed behind your back, we never ask for your Scania credentials, and we do not work on emission systems, speed limiters, tachographs or fault-code erasure — see the Acceptable Use Policy.

Before you order.

No. A remote job is a service performed by our specialist — it is sold and delivered separately from the desktop app. You only need a free account so we can send you the quote, the invoice and the progress of the job. If you do own a licence, you can also submit the request straight from the app.

A Windows PC with SDP3 installed and working, your VCI2 or VCI3 interface, the vehicle connected and the ignition on, an internet connection, and TeamViewer or AnyDesk so we can see that PC. We never ask for your Scania credentials.

To your computer. You stay in control of the vehicle and of SDP3 the whole time — we drive your session remotely. Nothing is installed on the truck by us and you can end the session at any moment.

Pre-priced services are usually finished in one session of 20–60 minutes once we are both connected. Custom requests get a quote within 24 hours, and we agree a slot with you from there.

Not every chassis has the hardware or the factory option behind a function. If we find that out before starting, you are not charged. If we find it out during the session we tell you straight away and stop — see the refund terms in our Terms of Use.

Yes. Every payment generates a legal invoice automatically, emailed to you right after the payment is confirmed. Add your VAT number at checkout and it goes on the invoice.
