Service reminder — vehicle distance

What it controls

Odometer reading at which the next service reminder is due, stored in the bodywork electrical block on some vehicle generations. Unlike the interval parameter in the coordinator, this is an absolute distance: the cluster compares it with the current odometer and shows the reminder when the two get close, according to ServiceDistDelta. After an ECU replacement the value can be lost, leaving the cluster to show a service reminder permanently or never; copying the original specification restores it. When a customer's maintenance plan changes, update the coordinator interval and this absolute value together so the next reminder lands on the correct date.
