Clutch overload warning

SOPS parameter ClutchWarning · seen in 7 SOPS files

What it controls

Turns on the clutch overload warning shown to the driver when the calculated clutch energy exceeds the allowed level. It is the visible part of the clutch protection: the warning appears first, and the torque reduction of ClutchProt follows if the driver keeps slipping the clutch. The adjustment level parameter defines how sensitive the warning is, in percent of the calibrated threshold. Operators with driver-training programmes keep the warning enabled and use it to correct habits; on vehicles where the clutch is replaced by a heavier-duty unit the sensitivity can be raised. Change it together with the protection setting so the two stay coherent.
