CCAP — cruise control with active prediction mode setting

SOPS parameter CCAP_ModeSetting · seen in 6 SOPS files

What it controls

Defines in which driving modes the predictive cruise control (CCAP, Cruise Control with Active Prediction) is allowed to work. CCAP uses map data to let the vehicle gain speed before a climb and roll over crests, which saves fuel but changes the driving feel; Scania lets the specification restrict it to the Economy and Standard performance modes so that in Power mode the driver gets conventional cruise control. Fleets that want maximum fuel saving allow it in every mode; drivers who dislike the speed variation get it disabled entirely. The parameter only has an effect on vehicles with the ActivePrediction cruise control variant and the map module fitted.
