PTO remote constant engine speed limit

What it controls

Maximum engine speed in rpm that the remote (bodywork) engine speed request may set while the PTO is active. It caps the set point coming from the body controller so a faulty or badly configured remote throttle cannot rev the engine beyond what the PTO-driven equipment tolerates. Typical values are 1200–1500 rpm; hydraulic pumps with a low maximum input speed need it lower, generators and compressors may need it higher. It works with the engine speed control channels in the BWE block and with the PTO disengagement speed — keep the limit below the PTO cut-out so the PTO never drops out because of a legitimate remote request.
