This guide explains how to activate the Axle load display on Scania vehicles, so the axle weight is shown on the instrument cluster display, by editing the SOPS file. The configuration is done via SDP3 in Conversion mode together with your Scania SOPS Editor, adjusting the Axle load display parameter in the coordinator, followed by programming of the ICL.

Launch SDP3 in Conversion Mode
Open SDP3 and switch to Conversion mode from the main interface. -
Save the Original SOPS File
In the top-left corner, click File → Save SOPS File and save the current SOPS configuration as a backup before making any changes. -
Open the SOPS File in Scania SOPS Editor
Start Scania SOPS Editor, click Open SOPS File, and load the SOPS file you just exported from SDP3. -
Go to the SOPS Tab
Once the file is loaded, open the SOPS Tab inside the editor to access all configurable parameters.
