PTO EG1 — engage only above engine speed
SOPS parameter PTO_EG1_ACT_ABOVE_ENGINE_SPEED · seen in 70 SOPS files
What it controls
Lower engine-speed limit for engaging the EG1 power take-off. When a value in rpm is set, the coordinator refuses the engagement request while the engine runs below it — useful on hydraulic pumps that must not be loaded at idle, or where the customer wants the PTO engaged only at a raised idle. Without limits the PTO engages at any engine speed. This parameter is one of four windows (activate above/below, deactivate above/below) that together shape the operating envelope of the PTO; keep them consistent with the raised idle speed value so the driver is not asked to hold a speed the engine cannot reach on its own.
