PTO EG1 — engage only below engine speed
SOPS parameter PTO_EG1_ACT_BELOW_ENGINE_SPEED · seen in 70 SOPS files
What it controls
Upper engine-speed limit for engaging the EG1 power take-off. Gearbox-driven and some flywheel PTOs must be engaged close to idle so the clutch or dog engagement is not damaged; setting a value here makes the coordinator ignore the switch while the engine is revving above it. Once engaged, the PTO is no longer governed by this parameter but by the deactivation windows. Typical values are between 900 and 1200 rpm. Leave it at Without on PTOs with their own hydraulic clutch that tolerate engagement at any speed, and always cross-check with the raised idle value so the raised idle itself does not block the engagement.
