PTO EG1 — reverse gear dependency

SOPS parameter PTO_EG1_GEARBOX_IN_REVERSE_DEP · seen in 70 SOPS files

What it controls

Decides whether engaging reverse gear disengages the EG1 power take-off. Refuse collectors, sweepers and spreader bodies are frequently operated while reversing, so the dependency is normally set to Without for them. Tippers and cranes, on the other hand, are safer with the PTO dropping out in reverse so the body cannot be operated while the truck backs up. The parameter only has an effect once the PTO is engaged; it does not block engagement by itself. If a customer complains that the body stops every time the driver selects reverse, check this value before looking for an electrical fault in the bodywork interface.

Possible values
