PTO EG1 — gearbox neutral dependency

SOPS parameter PTO_EG1_NEUTRAL_DEP · seen in 70 SOPS files

What it controls

Sets whether the gearbox has to be in neutral before the EG1 power take-off can be engaged. Engine-driven PTOs on the flywheel side or the timing-gear side run independently of the gearbox, so for those the neutral condition is only a safety choice; gearbox-mounted PTOs on Opticruise vehicles generally require neutral during engagement to protect the synchronisers. Bodybuilders converting a chassis for mobile operation (spreading, sweeping, mixing) usually keep engagement in neutral but disable the reverse-gear dependency so the PTO keeps running while manoeuvring. Set this parameter consistently with PTO_EG1_GEARBOX_IN_REVERSE_DEP and the parking brake dependency.

Possible values

Activateseen in 70 files
Neutral is required to engage the PTO (engagement only, the PTO may stay on once in gear).
Deactivate
No neutral condition at all.
Activate+Deactivate
Neutral is required to engage, and leaving neutral disengages the PTO — strictly stationary use.
